George and the Dragon Art Print

Knights fighting dragons, protecting beautiful damsels, tales of high romance and the hero's quest! The legend of St. George and the Dragon was a favorite in the middle ages. Saint George himself was actually a Roman soldier, martyred in the early days of the Church, and the dragon legend was added later. He is the actual patron saint of England, Portugal, Greece, Russia, and many other places.
