The inscription at the bottom of this lovely holy card said, in German, "Heart, learn from me in all circumstances as I am the handmaid of the Lord!"

The heart she's calling out to is yours and mine. Mary enjoys a special place next to Jesus, and so, as St. Louis de Montfort said, she "is the safest, easiest, shortest and most perfect way of approaching Jesus".

We have been looking at this holy card for a long time, always thinking it was beautiful. We cropped the lower part off as it made the picture overly long and kind of detracted from the person of Mary. We think this was a German card printed about 1890.

We hope you enjoy it. Devotional artwork in the home can help the hearts of those who see it.

We print this one on natural cotton paper, slightly creamy, to harmonize with the holy card. This image should look almost exactly the same for many generations if kept dry and left out of the sun. Beauty evangelizes! Our archival prints take evangelization forward into time!

** IMPORTANT ** THE IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER! There is a white border of about 0.5" inch for 5x7", 1.3" for 8.5x11", or 1.6" for 11x14" pictures. All Approx! Fine art printers do this because the images are almost never the same rectangular ratio of the standard paper sizes. It also gives the prints a finished look, and lets them look good in a frame without a matt.

- Acid-free paper
- Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
- Cardboard backer
- Above story of the art
- Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.

Thanks for your interest!
