Mother Teresa Postcard

Saint Teresa of Calcutta was one of the most famous of the servants of God in the Twentieth Century. A very small woman who accomplished amazingly great things, she is a wonderful model for us to trust in God and serve the Lord of Love with our works.

Sue drew this image of Saint Teresa with graphite on paper, and tried to express her littleness. It is well known that she was small of stature, less than 5 feet tall, but she also had a great devotion to her patroness, the Little Flower, St Therese of Lisieux, whose "Little Way" teaches us to be as little children, humble and trusting in our Heavenly Father. Mother Teresa did many small things for the love of Jesus, and so can we!
