The Divine Mercy is a devotion to Jesus started by St. Faustina based on visitations Jesus made to her. In his revelations, he described his mercy as an unfathomable ocean. It is vast, and there are abundant of graces available to those who trust in him.

There is a prayer said to Jesus using the Rosary beads called “The Chaplet of Divine Mercy.” We have put the chaplet on the back, making this card not only a devotion, but a handy way to help people learn to say this important prayer.

Jesus also instructed Faustina to make an image depicting his mercy with “Jesus I Trust in You” at the bottom. The original painting was done by Eugeniusz Kazimirowski under Faustina's guidance. This is Sue’s interpretation of it, light-hearted and joyful, as with most of her work. The red and blue rays indicate the fountain of His Mercy, which you may think of as blood and water pouring from his side, or even as the circulation of his heart throughout creation.
