Melchior Paul von Deschwander (1811–1881) was a Swiss religious painter, and this is perhaps his most famous work. The Child Jesus, flying to you with something like the Bethlehem star over his head, is doing it because he loves you and wants to be with you. The meditation we've put on the back perfectly aligns with this picture: St. Faustina telling us how Jesus came to her as a loving child.

Our restoration of this holy card is one of our series of Christmas Holy cards. We've restored these beautiful old cards as a little way to help strengthen people's spiritual lives and make our Christmas celebrations holier.
