This lovely holy card shows Mary giving the Rosary to St. Domnic, as she did in 1208. It has been prayed ever since, with occasional refinements. The other person receiving the Rosary is St. Chaterine of Sienna, who was a Dominican some years later. She is a Doctor of the Church. The Dominicans are huge advocates of the Rosary.
St. John Paul the Great added the Luminous Mysteries for Thursdays. On the back of the card, we show the mysteries for each day. We also have our favorite quote about the Rosary on the back. It's by Sister Lucy of Fatima. She said, "There is no problem, no matter how difficult.... that cannot be solved by the Rosary."
It's important to remember that. We face so many problems in life, and yet we have a telephone line to the Queen of Heaven, who loves us and will speak with her Son about us.
We call this card "Daily Mysteries" for an additional reason. When Mary appears to people, she always tells them to pray the rosary - daily. She always says "Daily." Let's take her advice!
