New! Holy Card – Ascension – pack of 10/100/1000 – Restored Vintage Holy Card

This Ascension card comes from Italy circa 1910. It’s in the Art Nouveau style, or as the Italians called it, Stile Liberty, a cheerful, graceful style of art that harmonizes with the glad hearts at the triumph of the Ascension!

We have put a traditional Catholic Ascension prayer on the back. On the front it says, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me shall never die." It is from John 11, and it will do your heart good to pause and re-read the larger context. Lazarus has just died, and his sister Martha is talking with Jesus:

23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise.”

24 Martha said to him, “I know he will rise, in the resurrection on the last day.”

25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live,

26 and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

27 She said to him, “Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one who is coming into the world.”

Amen! Amen!
