New! Sacred Heart of Jesus by Fritz Kunz – Framed – 4.25x4.25"
New! Sacred Heart of Jesus by Fritz Kunz – Framed – 4.25x4.25"
This "Sacred Heart" is the companion piece of the little round "Immaculate Heart of Mary", both done by Catholic artist Fritz Kunz (1868-1947), the premier Catholic artist in Switzerland of that time. Kunz was a church painter, draftsman and mosaicist, influenced much at first by the Beuron School of Catholic art which emphasized devotion and metaphysical calm. This painting was done in 1911, reportedly, two years before the "immculate Heart," both with an Art Nouveau touch. It is mystical and graceful, and shows Jesus kindness. (source: second.wiki)
We offer it in a small 4.25x4.25" frame, with the picture being 3x3", which makes it perfect for a desk or a shelf, or on the wall of a home shrine. It is adorable in this "Fun Size."
