New! Torrent of Graces – Holy Card – pack of 10/100/1000 – Restored Vintage Holy Card
Bright and colorful, this joyous card, The Torrent of Graces, is one of our favorites from the Louis Turgis company. It’s an early lithograph, we would guess about 1850. It pictures the flood of graces that come from Jesus’s Sacred Heart constantly to all of us. Devotion to the Sacred Heart because very popular in France in the mid-1800s, which was overall a very pious period in history.
The beautiful prayer on the back is a daily prayer of St. Padre Pio, given to him by Jesus in 1963. The Imprimatur was given by Bishop Marcario. We have not yet found the biographical source material for this, but the information as we've stated it is all over the interent, and the prayer seems good and true to us. Imprimatur means "let it be printed," as the church official who has granted it discerns nothing contrary to the faith.
