The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared miraculously on the cloak of Juan Diego, a simple indigenous peasant, on the hill of Tepeyac near Mexico City on December 12, 1531. Today it is displayed in the Basilica of Guadalupe nearby, the most visited Catholic shrine in the world. Pope John Paul II declared her patroness of the Americas.
I painted the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and this 3 x 3 inch print is framed in a frame I handpainted. I really enjoyed making this one of a kind item for you!
Thanks for your interest!
God bless,
Sue & John
