Padre Pio with Cross Art Print

Saint Pio of Pietrelcino is one of the most remarkable of our modern saints. A man of amazing holiness, he has many miracles associated with him. Even Pope John Paul asked him to pray for a friend who had terminal cancer - and she recovered.

In this painting, Sue shows the wounds to his hands  Padre Pio suffered in union with Christ, and the symbol of the Cross behind him. His look is one of kindness, joy and humility. The purple stole reminds us of the many hours he spent in the confessional, freeing many souls from sin, and his great gift of reading their hearts.

IMPORTANT: Each of the 3 sizes indicates outside dimensions. There is a border of white left around the image, approximately 1 1/2" to 2" all around.
