"Saint Francis is a favorite of everyone. Of course, he had an overwhelming love of God's creation, which I also share. I love to feed the birds and see God's Hand in every detail of this world's beauty and order.

"But many don't realize that Saint Francis had such a consuming love for Christ and His Passion that he was actually given the Stigmata, a replication of the wounds Jesus suffered for our sins.
