This lovely little decoration is a spiritual barometer, a reminder and an encouragement. When our hearts are pointed to our Lord's Sacred Heart, we are in for Beautemps, Good Weather. The cares of this world hurt less when we are lined up with God, and it is easier for him to bless us when we stay in his grace. When he does allow some difficult trial, we are more easily consoled when we are close to him.

A barometer, which you don't see much anymore, is a weather forecasting device that measures air pressure. It was very important for sailors before radio so that they could avoid storms. By keeping our hearts pointed to our Lord, like a true North on a compass, we can avoid a lot of storms. There are many ways we can do that - spiritual readings, Catholic radio, Catholic art - but the best way of course is prayer! Rosaries, Mass, spiritual heart-to-hearts with God! Ask God to keep you near him!

The beautiful flowers and filigree of this Victorian holy card present a simple truth: Aim for God and his Good Weather. A note on the French words, Variable, Nuageux, Pluie, Tempete, Tres sec, they mean Variable, Cloudy, Rain, Storm, Very dry.

** IMPORTANT ** There is about an inch-and-a-third of white space around the picture, so the image is smaller than the paper.

- Acid-free paper
- Archival pigments, rated to last for generations.
- Cardboard backer
- Above story of the art
- Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.
