Exclusive Photo Restoration
We offer you our restored photograph of Mother Cabrini to let you see her love, her strength of character, and also her frailty. Frances Cabrini wanted very much to be a nun and a missionary, but she was turned down because of poor health. So she founded her own order! She went to Pope Leo XIII, asking him to send her order, the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to China. But he told her to go to America instead.
In America, she helped Italian immigrants and other poor people. She established schools, hospitals, and orphanages. As her reputation spread, requests came from Central and South America to open schools, so she went there. Eventually she established 67 institutions. Today her Missionary Sisters are in 17 countries around the world, continuing the mission of their founder, Saint Cabrini.
As with all of our restored photographs, we hope this helps you better see her as a living person like us, and helps you be closer to her and thus closer to Jesus.
** IMPORTANT ** IMAGE IS SMALLER THAN THE PAPER!! There is a white border around the image! .5" for 5x7, 1.3" for 8.5x11, 1.6" for 11x14". This is the normal way fine art printers do their prints, and it gives the print a finished look when framed without a matt.
