Raphael Archangel Art Print

Saint Raphael the Archangel is a favorite of many. His story is in the book of Tobit, where he takes the young Tobias on a journey to the home of a relative to bring his father, Tobit, what is owed the old man, who incidentally, is blind.

By the time Tobias and Raphael get home, demons have been chased away, Tobias has a new bride, and they bring all this good stuff with them for his dad. To top it all off, Raphael cures Tobit's blindness and reveals to them that he's an angel and disappears. All because God heard the prayers of Tobit and Tobias' bride to be.

Raphael shares his feastday, September 29th, with Gabriel and Michael and is patron of travelers, marriage and healing.
