Just like the Catholic Church has a devotion for each day of the year, we also have a devotion for each month of the year. February is the month of the Holy Family. In honor of that, we have restored two beautiful Holy Family prayer cards for you to help your devotion to the Holy Family.

The Holy Family are the model of love, a perfect example of the domestic church, and serve as our friends and protectors, knowing firsthand themselves the challenges and difficulties we face in life as families. For the reverse side, we have chosen a traditional Catholic prayer invoking the Holy Family for the help and protection of our family and all the families of the world.

The card we restored for this art print comes from a French card maker, and keeping with its culture, it has a more emotional quality to it than the German versions. The colors are lush and warm - we especially like the browns of Joseph's robes - and the overall tone has the feeling of a family, with love and happiness. The palm tree suggests they are still in Egypt. We think they would have had some happy times in Egypt as a family.
